In the shimmering light of the day
How those colours splash ‘n’ spray
Filling in the hues of the moment;
The joyous laughter that rings in the air;
The incoming of spring, that spreads its wonder
In the young, the old, the budding,
The newborn freshness, it is,
The first smile towards a new living;
A life to live upto;
In that palette of colours, I wield
I can paint every moment, brushing in the brightness of the sun
